Do you have experience developing, overseeing, and completing construction projects? Our client is a growing company that provides construction services across the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic states to New England. With over 60 years of experience, they specialize in drywall, masonry, concrete/masonry restoration, Divisions 8 & 10, structural strengthening, and building envelope restoration.
Responsibilities
-Expands knowledge and understanding of assigned project folders, field package, cost control, estimating and cost management systems.
-Interprets project documents, including contracts, plans, specifications and change orders to provide timely and accurate cost estimates.
-Performs quantity take-off survey via on screen takeoff as required.
-Broadens the required technical knowledge for all product lines
-Prepares change order cost and pricing for approval within policy & procedures.
-Communicate with field personnel and vendors to communicate stocking plans.
-Broadens knowledge of field methods and systems by periodic visits to active projects.
-Broadens knowledge of technical aspects of our products and can apply this to prepare a control estimate for review and approval, utilizing current estimating tools and systems.
-Broadens knowledge to order, track and administrate materials within clearly established policies.
-Broadens knowledge to communicate with field personnel regularly to monitor, analyze and track schedule, production, and any other job issues. Assists with field reports, projections and month end reporting.
-Administrates accounting tasks including invoice, requisition, and payroll approvals.
-Broadens knowledge of effective communication with clients.
-Represents the company at outside meetings, as it pertains to project.
-Actively participates in marketing activities with our clients.
Qualifications
-B.S. in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, finance or accounting degree preferred.
-Analytical thinking.
-Able to communicate effectively (both oral and written).
-Able to make sound judgments.
-Able to grow with the Company.
-Must have own vehicle with active driver’s license and insurance.
-Successful completion of the company training program.
-This position requires a criminal background check and signing a Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure, and Non-Solicitation Agreement. (This is NOT a non-compete).
